Save the Date: “Assumption Celebrates Family” on February 14

January 23, 2026 – Assumption’s annual Mardi Gras celebration is taking a new theme this year: “Assumption Celebrates Family.” With a homecooked dinner, games and entertainment for all, and a fundraiser for Youth Ministry and Children’s Faith Formation, the event will celebrate the family bonds that unite us—both in our human families and in our family of faith.

The celebration will be held on Saturday, February 14 in Assumption’s DuRussel Hall following 4:30 pm Mass. Doors open at 5:45 pm and dinner starts at 6:30 pm. All are invited to come enjoy a hearty homestyle dinner (menu below), gameshow-style fun, silent auction, live entertainment, bingo, and other games. Beer, wine, and a specialty drink will be available for purchase. A Kids Zone will be offered for younger guests.

There is no charge to attend, but dinner donations are appreciated. Proceeds from the silent auction will benefit Assumption’s Youth Ministry and Children’s Faith Formation programs.

Guests are asked to RSVP at the Welcome Circle in the Gathering Space of the church, or call the parish office at 989-631-4447 by Tuesday, February 10.
