Celebrate the joy of Christmas! Come join us for a special evening of Scripture and song that all ages will enjoy. Reception with refreshments to follow, hosted by Knights of Columbus Council #2141. All are welcome!

Share a New Tradition
Wendy Graveline, our Children’s Faith Formation Coordinator, is excited to see Lessons & Carols become a new tradition for Assumption Parish and the wider community!
Read below as Wendy shares why she treasures this tradition and hopes others will, too:
“Lessons & Carols is an ecumenical service of prayer, Scripture, and Christmas carols designed for all ages. It’s a time to center and refocus on Jesus.
“If you’re anything like me, mid-December is the toughest time to remember the true reason for the celebration because you’re drowning in a Christmas to-do list with parties (both school and family), decorating, outfits, cookies, cards, and presents for everyone.
“Lessons & Carols is a great opportunity to hit ‘pause’ on all of it and realign. Why are we doing all of this? What are we really celebrating? It helps us finish Advent strong and with a renewed focus. All are welcome; all ages, all faiths. Plus, we have cookies afterwards!!!! We hope you’ll come join us and invite a family member or friend!”
