High School Youth Ministry for Grades 9-12 builds on the personal and spiritual growth of each young person, leading them into a deeper knowledge of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We provide opportunities to build community through fellowship, service, prayer, music and study of our Catholic faith. Students also have the opportunity to participate in both local and national events (see below for more details).

Meetings are held on Sunday evenings from 6:00–8:00 pm at Blessed Sacrament Parish. All Youth Ministry news and events are communicated through Flocknote and the bulletin. Flocknote emails are sent on a weekly basis.

You can best support your youth’s growth as a disciple by modeling the joy of a life rooted in Christ. Please prayerfully consider how you might incorporate the following practices into your family’s routine:

  1. Participate in the celebration of the Eucharist with your youth each Saturday evening or Sunday.
  2. Include prayer as a part of your daily routine.
  3. Read or pray with the Scriptures in a family setting.
  4. Take time for silent prayer in the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
  5. Encourage your youth to share their gifts in the parish’s life and ministry, in keeping with their age and abilities.
  6. Work with your youth to identify ways to serve in the local community.
  7. Encourage your youth to actively participate in retreats, social events and service opportunities offered by Youth Ministry.
