Welcome to High School Youth Ministry!

Our theme for the 2025-2026 school year “Treasured.” High School Youth Ministry will be taking a “Road Trip” finding treasures along the way and within themselves. Friends are welcome at all Youth Ministry levels.

All are welcome! Come join us!

High School Youth Ministry for Grades 9-12 builds on the personal and spiritual growth of each young person, leading them into a deeper knowledge of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit. We provide opportunities to build community through fellowship, service, prayer, music and study of our Catholic faith. Students also have the opportunity to participate in both local and national events (see below for more details).

Schedule & Communication

Meetings are held on Sunday evenings from 6:00–8:00 pm at Blessed Sacrament Parish. All Youth Ministry news and events are communicated through Flocknote and the bulletin. Flocknote emails are sent on a weekly basis.

Notre Dame Vision

June 22-26 & July 6-10, 2026

Notre Dame Vision is a 5-day experience on the Notre Dame campus designed to help high school students discover and renew God’s call in their lives. Connect with hundreds of other students as you learn from the witness of the saints and develop practices to live your faith. Sharpen your spiritual vision to recognize God’s grace at work in your life and immerse yourself in the Notre Dame campus. Sleep in the dorms, eat in the dining hall, and pray at the numerous sacred spaces across campus. Notre Dame Vision combines the theologically- rich experience of hearing nationally-known keynote speakers with the mentorship of college students. From large group sessions to small faith-sharing groups comprised of your peers, Notre Dame Vision gives you the space and the community to ask big questions about how God is calling you to use your talents in service to the Church and world.

Questions?

You can best support your youth’s growth as a disciple by modeling the joy of a life rooted in Christ. Please prayerfully consider how you might incorporate the following practices into your family’s routine:

  1. Participate in the celebration of the Eucharist with your youth each Saturday evening or Sunday.
  2. Include prayer as a part of your daily routine.
  3. Read or pray with the Scriptures in a family setting.
  4. Take time for silent prayer in the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
  5. Encourage your youth to share their gifts in the parish’s life and ministry, in keeping with their age and abilities.
  6. Work with your youth to identify ways to serve in the local community.
  7. Encourage your youth to actively participate in retreats, social events and service opportunities offered by Youth Ministry.

“Beloved of God, called to be holy, Grace to you and peace
from God our Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.”
