Christian Service Commission

The Christian Service Commission assists the pastor and staff in organizing the efforts of the entire parish to serve those in need, to advocate for justice, and to work at changing societal structures that perpetuate injustice. The commission meets monthly to organize educational endeavors and service opportunities that touch upon the local, regional, and worldwide community.

Projects have included:

• Baby bottle campaign to benefit LifeClinic, a local pregnancy resource center
• Winter boot drive for local preschoolers
• Flower deliveries to the homebound at Christmas & Easter
• Gift cards for those in need
• Monthly food pantry collections
• Annual food truck distributions
• Rummage sale for charity
