“An Evening with Elvis” Brings 200 Guests Together to Benefit Youth Ministry Program

October 3, 2025 – Thank you, thank you very much! Elvis has left the building, but we’re still feeling the excitement from last Saturday, September 27, when Assumption warmly welcomed the community to enjoy an unforgettable Evening with Elvis! Conceived by Dan Schneider, one of our young adults, the show brought over 200 guests together on a musical tour of Elvis’ hits to benefit our youth ministry program.

The evening featured Elvis Tribute Artist Jake Slater, who kept the crowd clapping, dancing, and singing along to favorite songs like “Blue Suede Shoes” and “An American Trilogy.” Guests also enjoyed an Elvis-inspired menu of hors d’oeuvres and beverages, from his famous peanut butter, banana & bacon sliders to the “Moody Blue Hawaii” specialty cocktail.

Thank you to everyone who helped make the show a success, whether you attended as a guest, helped spread the word, or served as one of the many volunteers—we are so grateful for your support of our youth!
