Awakened Series Brings Parishioners and Guests Together for Food, Fellowship, and Faith

October 28, 2025 – During the month of October, our parish offered its first ever evangelization series, entitled “Awakened: Rising to New Life in Christ, Right Here and Now.” Open to the community, the series brought together parishioners and guests, both youth and adults, to encounter the new life that Christ offers, not in a distant future, but in the present moment.

Over three sessions, participants shared food and fellowship and enjoyed short presentations, music, journaling, reflection, and discussion centered on the Gospel message and what it means for our lives, right here and now. The series concluded with a retreat and the opportunity to surrender ourselves more fully to the Lord and his love.

The series came to fruition through the hard work of many parishioners, who served as presenters, small group facilitators, prayer service leaders, and assisted with hospitality, prepared homecooked meals, provided childcare, and more. Key to the event’s success were the parish’s Evangelization Committee, who thoughtfully and prayerfully planned the series, and the members of our parish prayer chain, who prayed behind the scenes for the event and all the participants.
