Welcome to Assumption Parish Music Ministry!

We bring together musicians of all ages and experience levels to present a repertoire that blends the best of traditional and contemporary sacred music.

Below you will find more information about our program and how you can get involved. If you have any questions, please contact Jim Renfer, Director of Music and Liturgy. We look forward to hearing from you!

Open to All Levels

Assumption Parish Music Ministry offers opportunities for singers and instrumentalists of all ages and experience levels. Whether a seasoned professional or brand new to learning music, there’s a place for all.

Choir & Instrument Ensemble

Our ensembles rehearse on a weekly basis and provide high-level sacred music at our weekend liturgies. We also present a large choral work two times a year, providing an opportunity to grow our musical skills through performance of advanced sacred works.

Choir Rehearsal: 7:00-8:30 pm Thursdays
Sunday Call Time: 8:30 am

Sacred Concert Series

Our sacred concert series aims to bring professional-grade performances of great sacred works of music into church settings for the community to experience. These concerts are collaborative in nature, bringing together both professional and amateur musicians from throughout the Tri-City area. Recent performances include:

  • Handel’s Messiah – December 2025
  • Dubois’ Seven Last Words of Christ – March 2025
  • Handel’s Messiah – December 2024
  • Vivaldi’s Gloria – April 2024
