At Assumption Parish, we are committed to supporting the belonging and well-being of everyone in our community. Here are some of the ways we strive to ensure that individuals of all needs and abilities are able to fully participate in our worship and parish life:

Entrances
All main entrances are ramped for those with wheelchairs, walkers, or difficulty ascending steps.
All parish facilities are on a single level and connected under one roof, making it easy to transition between wings of the building.

Seating
The worship space offers plenty of room for those with wheelchairs and walkers to maneuver.
There are several sections of short pews with extra space between and behind them to accommodate those with mobility devices.
Please speak to a greeter or usher if you have limited mobility and need a Eucharistic Minister to bring Communion to you.

Restrooms
Handicap accessible restrooms are available in the church gathering space and near the entrance to the parish hall/classroom wing.
A large private restroom for families or those who need special assistance is located at the back of church next to the media room.

Hearing Assistance
If you wear hearing aids, and they are connected to your phone, you can download the Listen Everywhere app to hear the Mass through your hearing aids.

Mass Livestream
Our Sunday 9:30 am Mass is livestreamed on YouTube for those who are sick or homebound. The livestream also includes the words to the hymns and responses to help viewers follow along.

Homebound and Hospital Ministry
Please contact the parish office if you or someone you know is homebound or hospitalized and would like a Eucharistic Minister to bring Communion.
Children’s Worship Bags
Coming to church with children who are too young to understand (and sit still for) the Mass yet? Don’t forget to check out our Children’s Worship Bags!
Inside, your little ones will find easy-to-read books about our faith, colorful prayer cards, simple hands-on activities like lacing cards or felt boards, and more. No two bags are the same, and they’re changed with the liturgical seasons.
Bags are available on the shelves just inside the doors of our worship space. We ask that you borrow just one per family and return it to the shelf when Mass is over.

How Can We Serve You?
If you have any questions or needs, please speak to a greeter or usher at Mass or contact the parish office
and let us know how we can assist you.
