Special Moments on Memorial Day

The Assumption community was blessed to host this year’s Memorial Day Mass at New Calvary Cemetery on May 25, 2026, with our own Fr. Rick Filary presiding.

Despite some early morning fog, the clouds soon rolled back and the sun shone through, as though reminding us that all sacrifice and sadness will one day give way to new life and unending joy.

Thank you to everyone from around the Midland area who came together to remember, honor, and pray for those who have served our country. It was a blessing to begin the holiday by sharing this time with you!
