Handel’s Messiah Bible Study

The Story of Salvation, Told in Song

Thursdays beginning November 5, 2026 | 6:00-7:00pm
Assumption Parish in Holy Grounds

Messiah, by George Frideric Handel, is perhaps the most widely-known musical work in the classical repertoire. It is also unique in that the entire oratorio consists of quotations from Scripture: God’s living word, inspired by the Holy Spirit.

Guided by an award-winning book by Stephen J. Binz, we will deepen both our understanding of God’s redeeming plan and our appreciation for the timeless music telling the story of salvation.

Open to all beliefs. All are welcome!
