About Our Program
Middle School Youth Ministry for Grades 6-8 focuses on fostering the personal and spiritual growth of each young person. We provide opportunities to build community through fellowship, prayer, music, celebration, and study of our Catholic faith.
Meetings are held on Sunday evenings from 6:00-8:00 pm at Blessed Sacrament Parish. All Youth Ministry news and events are communicated through Flocknote and the bulletin. Flocknote emails are sent on a weekly basis.
Questions? Please contact Kathy Russell, Director of Youth Ministry, or call the parish office at 989-631-4447.

Catechesis Begins in the Home
You can best support your youth’s growth as a disciple by modeling the joy of a life rooted in Christ. Please prayerfully consider how you might incorporate the following practices into your family’s routine:
- Participate in the celebration of the Eucharist with your youth each Saturday evening or Sunday.
- Include prayer as a part of your daily routine.
- Read or pray with the Scriptures in a family setting.
- Take time for silent prayer in the presence of Jesus in the Eucharist.
- Encourage your youth to share their gifts in the parish’s life and ministry, in keeping with their age and abilities.
- Work with your youth to identify ways to serve in the local community.
- Encourage your youth to actively participate in retreats, social events and service opportunities offered by Youth Ministry.
