Food Truck Outreach

Lend a hand to feed the hungry, right here in our neighborhood.

Each year, Assumption partners with the Midland County Food Assistance Network to host a food truck distribution at the parish. It takes about 80 volunteers to unload pallets of food, load grocery carts at the various food stations, and unload the grocery carts into the cars of those in need.

Instructions are provided, and everyone’s safety is prioritized. Families are welcomed—there are opportunities for all ages to help, and it is a very impactful way to engage in service together!

The annual food distribution usually takes place in July. Please keep an eye on the bulletin for volunteer information or contact the parish office if you are interested in participating.
