Lectors

Serving as a lector is more than simply reading; it’s allowing God to speak his Word—through you!

Lectors play an essential role at every Mass by proclaiming the Word of God for us to hear and ponder. Lectors may also announce the intentions for the Universal Prayer and, if there is no cantor, recite the Psalm between the readings.

Youth are welcomed and encouraged to take part as well as adults! Training is provided.
