Meet Fr. Rick:
I am a native of Bay City and in my 44th year of priestly ministry, having been ordained in 1982. Besides parish ministry, I have a canon law degree and have worked in the Tribunal for 40 years. I continue to do so along with being a “senior” priest of the diocese and assigned here as sacramental minister, a parish I once pastored for nine years from 2001-2010.
Favorite Saint:
My favorite saint is Saint Joseph, Husband of the Blessed Virgin Mary.
Favorite Scripture Verse:
There are many. Two are a version of Psalm 103 – “The Lord is kind and merciful” Micah 6:8 – “You have been told, O mortal, what is good, and what the LORD requires of you: Only to do justice and to love goodness, and to walk humbly with your God.”
Fun Fact:
I am a Notre Dame, Moody Blues, and golf fanatic! I enjoy music and sports. And, if I could I think I would eat pizza every day!
