Jim Renfer
Meet Jim:
Graduate of University of Michigan’s School of Music, Theatre, and Dance (BM Vocal performance; BM Organ Performance and Sacred Music). Devoted husband and father of two perfect girls. I bring years of experience as a choir director, professional vocalist, and accompanist to my ministry at Assumption, and am grateful for over 10 years of serving in Music Ministry. Outside of mass, I perform regularly in pit orchestras and professional ensembles in the tri-city area, and host a regular Sacred Music Concert Series.

I’m a huge baseball fan (I still have dreams about the time that Kansas City Royals manager Ned Yost told me I “did a great job” conducting the national anthem at Comerica Park a few years ago!)
